Ask Ang: Should I quit what I love for him?

Hi my babies!  A while back I asked you to send me questions you might have that you wanted me to answer.  From décor to friends, to pets and relationships, I got a bunch of questions and am going to start answering them now!

The first question is from teamox27 and she writes…

Hmmm… this has me thinkin’…  My question to you is why do you want to be with someone who has forced you to give up something you LOVE? I love that you aren’t the type of girl who needs a guy to take care of her. NO woman should depend on a man to support them! We all want nice things I know I do =)  But it sounds to me like he is bringing you down.  He shouldn’t be bribing you to quit something you love by offering to buy you things. Although, once in a while I’ll take the present! I would knock some sense into him with my purse! It seems like there is not a lot of trust involved and if you ask me trust is very important in a relationship!  It takes two to tango, and you need to have your own hobbies and dreams to be your own person.  If not, you can lose yourself within the relationship (we’ve all been there!)  My advice to you would be to take a step back and decide if this is the type of person you want to be with for your whole life!  Good luck my baby!
